Moneyfacts in the news

Wednesday, 29 July 2015

Just what has Moneyfacts been up to this week? Well, it’s certainly been a busy one, with our research and expert comments appearing all over the place. Let’s take a look.
The Daily Express talked about the market-leading account from RCI Bank UK, taking expert commentary from Moneyfacts’ Charlotte Nelson. In a second story it covered overdraft fees, using our research and commentary on the subject.
The Independent mentioned two pieces of Moneyfacts research – the soaring costs of overdraft fees, and the fact that NISAs remain disappointing.
This is Money used our mortgage figures and commentary from Charlotte in a piece on cheap fixed rate deals, and created a second story from our analysis into rising overdraft fees (including commentary from one of our resident finance experts, Rachel Springall).
Our overdraft research has certainly done the rounds, with the Daily Mail also using our press release for a story.
We were mentioned twice in The Times: a story on the cost of personal loans included Charlotte’s commentary, while a piece on low-cost mortgage deals benefited from our data.
The Guardian was another national to use our mortgage commentary and figures, as was the BBC, while the Financial Times included commentary from Rachel in its story on potential regulatory changes to the savings market.
Elsewhere, we could be seen in Introducer Today (in its piece on improved affordability in the mortgage market), the Express and Star (another story on mortgage rates) and The Daily Telegraph (mentioning our history with TSB chief executive Paul Pester), so as you can see, we really do get out there! Check out our price comparison website to stay up to date with our latest and greatest pieces of research.
